2023 Kia K3 in-depth Walkaround
The Kia K3 is a subcompact car (B-segment) manufactured by Kia since 2023, serving as the successor to the Rio. In terms of design, the front of the K3 has undergone significant changes, featuring a new tiger-roaring grille with a flat design similar to that of the Kia K5. The integration of the new star-chain LED headlights with the grille enhances the visual width of the front, giving the car a broader, wide-body appearance.
From the side, the K3's design modifications include a longer front overhang and a shorter rear overhang, creating a more balanced look. The car measures 4666 mm in length, 1780 mm in width, and 1450 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2700 mm, making it 6 mm longer than its predecessor. At the rear, the K3 features through-type taillights and high-gloss black decorations around the rear, emphasizing its sporty feel.
Inside, the Kia K3 is equipped with a 10.25-inch full LCD instrument panel with a simple and intuitive UI design, enhancing the car's technological appeal. The floating central control screen also measures 10.25 inches and includes upgraded touch-sensitive buttons, adding to the refined interior look.
In terms of power, the K3 offers two engine options: a 1.5L engine with a maximum power of 115 horsepower and a 1.4T engine with an increased maximum power of 140 horsepower, up from the previous model's 130 horsepower. This combination of design and performance updates positions the Kia K3 as a stylish and capable option in the subcompact car market.
